A Merchant Account enables you to process credit cards, debit cards, gift cards and electronic check transactions. These payment methods are convenient for your customers, and they help you get paid faster.
How long does it take to get setup with credit card processing?
The turnaround time can vary from merchant to merchant, however in most cases it takes between 24 and 48 hours.
What kinds of credit card processing solutions are available?
There are a wide range of solutions for all types of businesses. Swipe terminals for retail merchants; real-time processing for Internet sites; PC software for mail order/phone order and Internet businesses; touch-tone processing for low volume, seasonal and mobile merchants; and virtual terminals for Internet, mail and telephone order businesses.
What kind of credit cards can I accept?
Common Cards that can be accepted are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and Carte Blanche.
Can I accept a different card type other than Visa®, MasterCard®, and Discover® Network?
Yes. We work with different payment providers including Voyager Fleet Card and Geti gift card programs in order to ensure customers have the convenience of choosing different payment options.
What is Next Day Funding? How does it work?
Most of our merchants qualify for Next Day Funding. Our merchants see their funds in their bank account the next business day. Merchants have the ability to have their funds deposited into the bank of their choice.
What kind of transaction reporting is available?
Card Processing Systems will provide you with a paper statement at the end of the month. We also offer detailed online reporting.
I want to begin accepting payments with credit cards. What kind of hardware do I need?
After your account is approved, a member of our staff will advise you which terminal/gateway is best suited for your business. A trained technician will program and install your terminal for you and also provide the necessary training on how to operate it.
I already have a credit card terminal; can I use my existing terminal with your merchant services?
In many cases, a merchant can use their existing credit card terminal to process credit cards using our services. A simple re-program of the terminal is all that is needed.
